Looking for an Internal Sales Rep?

I am looking to hire another sales rep for Europe SaaS sales based in UK. What should I be aware of? How does a UK based sales rep compare with the usual traits of a US rep?

    The key for working with any sales rep is the quality of the individual. Many CVs look great, but can they sell? Interview and ask questions as if you would be hiring the rep for a full time job. Their representation of your company in there region is no different than a normal employee, so interview the same, and manage them the same. 'Agent teams' can also add value as your reach will be beyond a single resource, and the team can add coverage during sick and vacation days, or provide more visibility in the region, strategy, contacts, etc. Good reps cost money, so you will need to be prepared to invest in monthly fees and commissions, but value should be delivered if the product is right for the market. Lastly, stick it out, revenue takes time, so manage milestones closely.
