What is the technique used to create this effect on the morphing transitions of this video? Did they use After Effects or Cinema 4D?

    Hate to shatter your dreams of an "instant awesome" software / plugin for this sort of animation, but I'm guessing it's actually all drawn, even if in Flash or another animation software. Evidence to support: Anthony F. Schepperd's work (http://j.mp/1pCdcvc) is generally frame-by-frame animation using Flash. Cool animation! However it is very possible to do this by hand. There's a mixture of particles, hand drawn and path animation. In key moments, the animator did the morphing by hand from one object to another. Most of it is path animation all around.
