What does this mean on LinkedIn? " This message is a notice that you are nearing the threshold of "I don't know" responses you can receive before you will be required to enter an email address when sending invitations. "

How many more invites do I get to send before I may have my status changed? Will this last a period of time before my quota is reset?

Answer:
The IDK ratio of accepted verus not accepted is controlled via the trust team within LinkedIn. Log a support ticket via the help centre to get further insight, but unfortunately they will not provide specifics.

You have too many "I don´t know this person". You currently don't have the ability to see how many recipients of your invitations said they didn't know you You must send invitations to connect only people you know. On the contrary your first degree ring is useless.

It means you probably are not sending a message with your connection request to provide context to your connection requests. If you send connection requests to people that don't know you, it should be what you expect.ara If you exceed your threshold, you will only be able to send to people you have an email address. the quarantine will expire after a period, if you do not receive any more complaints.

Hi This message regarding I don't Know (IDK) alert usually results from sending too many http://www.linkedin.com/in/tlburriss Invites to people who do not know you.I encourage people to only send LinkedIn Invites to members who know who you are, at least in a basic way.LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/static?key=user_agreement&trk=hp-terms say not to send invites to people you do not know well, yet they still let us do it, and actually encourage it.You can delete invites that are still pending so that others who have not yet accepted or rejected with (IDK message) go to the https://www.linkedin.com/people/pymk/hub?ref=global-nav&trk=nav_utilities_add_connx and hover over the people icon (in blue box below) on the right side of the screen,. Click on Sent Invitations. I recommend delete all that are over a few months old.I hope this is helpful.Reach out to me on http://about.me/tlburriss if I can help you in any way.If you want deliberate and focused coaching on how to use LinkedIn as a business tool, visithttp://www.burrissconsulting.com/coaching
