Entrepreneur Ideas for Teens?

Other than "Entrepreneur", what are some professional titles for people who generate business ideas?

  • An Entrepreneur is more than the person with an idea. You can be an Entrepreneur using other people's ideas. So what would you call the actual idea maker? Is there a proper title/terminology? Something less generic than "Idea Maker?"

  • Answer:

P&G has what they call Innovation Guides. I met one last week at a product development conference.

Other answers

Based on my experience and the opinions of many notable entrepreneurs, it's wise to steer clear of assigning C titles (CEO, CFO etc) until it's necessary / the company receives funding.  If you want something on your business card, I recommend "Founder" or "Co-Founder" or simply leaving it blank. Handing out business cards with CEO on it will make you and your company look small IMO.
