Other than "Entrepreneur", what are some professional titles for people who generate business ideas?

An Entrepreneur is more than the person with an idea. You can be an Entrepreneur using other people's ideas. So what would you call the actual idea maker? Is there a proper title/terminology? Something less generic than "Idea Maker?"

Based on my experience and the opinions of many notable entrepreneurs, it's wise to steer clear of assigning C titles (CEO, CFO etc) until it's necessary / the company receives funding. If you want something on your business card, I recommend "Founder" or "Co-Founder" or simply leaving it blank. Handing out business cards with CEO on it will make you and your company look small IMO.
