Why amazon add more fees on shipping although it's free shipping?
-
hello , i tried to buy books from amazon to Cairo above 35$ . that mean they are free shipping as amazon said , but at the last step , amazon add more fees on the books price . why ? the second question , are the books arrive directly to my home or i should go to customs to receive it ? note : for Egypt , the tax of my books is 2$ but amazon add mostly 14$ more fees

Answer:
Dude, I don't work at Amazon or anything, but I believe 'free shipping' only applies within the US. For Egypt, it may be adding a fee for shipping across the freakin Atlantic Ocean. As for destination, I think it arrives at whichever address you give them. Thus, it's most likely at your home.
