Require inputs for e-commerce business and website related queries?

I want to start an online business in India. The issue is budget is constrained for website development.I want to start an online business. The issue is budget is constrained for website development. The website is supposed to have all basic e-commerce features - the interface needs to be pretty dynamic and sleek as usual and rest standard features like tracking, billing, payment gateway integration, email/SMS alerts, Vendor dashboard etc. are also desired. I would also like the website to have smart device compatibility (something like HTML5). The website once developed would finally be hosted on cloud and in future I would like to move development activities to in-house. I know e-commerce has already been done and dusted and lot of the components etc. are already available with vendors or available online. So my questions are - 1) What option should I go with - a freelancer developer (suggest exp. and background) or Small IT vendor or ready-made e-commerce website sellers (e.g. kartrocket) 2)Expected development timelines for each above option and respective cost. 3) Suggested technology stack for the mentioned requirements? Edit: But the website I want needs to be quite different from traditional ecommerce ones. The website alongwith the generic e-commerce website functionality also needs to have certain other features. I am not sure how much flexibility does these readymade ecommerce website provides.

why you want to reinvent the wheel when you have budget constraint. check http://Zepo.in or similar provider and set up store in a day. It will reduce your loses. If you are still not convince me or want technology related more help then message me.
