What criteria should I take into consideration to choose my college, like faculty, labs etc. for (undergraduate) Engineering degree for Computer Science? btw Question is about Indian colleges, however, I welcome everybody's opinion.

Answer:
I suspect you are not going to top 30-40 engineering college of India. You are not going to get a feel of CSE studies in India if you are not in these top notch colleges. so my suggestion to you would be to do anything else other than engineering.
