How to prepare for civil services exam?

Regarding civil services examinations, how should we present answers in the exam? How should one prepare for the exam?

    You should write your answer keeping what was asked in the question. If you write the concept regarding the question, you'l be awarded zero. Keep the meanings of these words(Directives) clearly,words are: 1.Explain 2.Analysis 3.Critically analyze 4.comment 5.critically comment 6.Describe 7.Discuss 8.Evaluate And before answering questions, keep in mind you are stick'd to word limit. Explain: explain the concept clearly in minimum words and it's should be very easy understandable language,not like flowery/ornamental language. most of them write concept clearly without answering to the directives asked in question. So, go through opinions of the hindu paper. Start writing your opinions. This'l improve your writing skills. All the best.
