How is this considered a business company?

What is the ruling on a company with a blog on Quora promoting their business? Is this considered spam? Why or why not?

• Today in my feed, I see what is clearly a company with a blog post on Quora promoting a give away. To me this appears to be spam. I went to report it, but because it is a blog there is no option to report. I also went looking for more information on what Quora has in its user policy, but I can't find Quora's policy on this.

  You can read quora terms and condition, but according to me it should not be consider as a spam if they are genuinely providing help and sharing their blogs links is also gonna help the person they are answering to.
