Can I add an email address to my iPhone?

Is there a way to send and receive email from two different Gmail addresses on both the iPhone 4 and on the web with Gmail without receiving duplicate emails?

• For example: if an email address is forwarded to another email address in Gmail, it works fine within Gmail -- you can send and receive email from both addresses. And if you have two or more email accounts on the iPhone 4, that works well too -- you can send and receive email from either account. But if you forward email from one address to another in Gmail and then add both of those accounts on the iPhone 4 you can send from either address, but you get duplicate emails since you are forwarding emails from one account to another, checking that account and checking the account from which you forwarded.

  On the Gmail account that forwards the message to the other one, have it archive the message when doing so.  That setting is available in your forwarding settings.
