Is it a good idea to make anti-Muslim comments in a diversified country like India?

  • New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): Congress leaders criticised Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal here on Thursday for his comment on Muslims, where he said that the recent general elections have shown that polls can be won without Muslim support, and now the latter should learn to respect Hindus. Condemning Singhal's statement, Congress leader Manish Tewari said that the true colours of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has surfaced. "The true colors of the BJP and the extended Sangh family 'pariwar' are finally coming out in their true essence. The test of a democracy is not how you treat your majority; the test of a democracy is how you treat your minority. So, under those circumstances, to make a statement that is tantamount to saying that the minorities in India are second class citizens, and therefore, they should respect the majority, it is not only a complete anti-thesis of democracy, but is laying the foundations of making India into a Fascist state," said Tewari. Another leader Rajiv Shukla also criticised Singhal for practicing this kind of politics, and said that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not agree to it. "People like Ashok Singhal have been doing this politics for very long. This is the basis of their politics. To us, India is one, and every citizen of India has got the equal right to vote and elect the government. I don't think even Modi would agree with his statement," said Shukla. "Muslims and Hindus live in this country together, and they will keep on living together, they are like brothers, and nothing can happen. Both communities are contributing immensely towards building this nation," Shukla added. (ANI)

    Morally to comment about anyone's religion is always bad and wrong because everyone has his own birth religions and if we cannot change it as we get it by birth so how can we comment about it as something  is best in every religion but we follow only bad things of that http://religion.so problem is in ours not in religion
