The Address hotel Downtown Dubai.

Where can I find the best deals on Dubai hotels?

  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates: 1. The Palace The Old Town 2. The Address, Downtown Dubai 3. The Address, Dubai Mall Hotel 4. Armani Hotel Dubai I prefer them because of the facilities at The Dubai Mall within very short walking distance. I found the best prices, without using them, on http://kayak.com though historically I've used http://booking.com or a local travel agent to book at these hotels. What would you do to assure you get great deals around the year for mostly just chillout time, no breakfast, nothing that has an attached schedule to it, except of course checkout. :-p I usually use Saudia for RUH->DXB round trip flights as they seem the most reasonably priced and conveniently timed, but of course I'm interested in venturing out to other options. I travel with a single carry-on so it's relatively easy for me to maneuver.  Thank you.

  • Answer:

Hotels run sales all the time- the trick is to know which hotels are on sale at any given moment.  For example, http://Oyster.com is offering the Hard Rock in Vegas at 50% off: http://www.oyster.com/hotels/sales/ Sales are updated every 7 days.

Firstly, ignore anyone offer the best deals - it's not true.Reason - the best deals are always subjective. Some would argue it's better to build long term value frequenting hotels via loyalty schemes, then leveraging the benefits accrued into upgrades, bonuses, free flights etc. Some would argue the best deals are the all-in deals, where they literally do not move from the hotel yet get great value on spa, dining etc. Some would argue third party websites - or booking agencies - offer the best deals, but be careful what's added on (or more often than not, what's missed out). You have quite detailed criteria, which helps to focus, so my first suggestion with you would be to build a relationship with the hotels mentioned. Join their loyalty scheme (if applicable), sign up for email/offer alerts, speak with their Guest Relations Manager. Be upfront and tell them you are a cost-driven traveller and want to offer them brand loyalty if they advise when the best deals are.Secondly, learn the value of best price guarantees. I'm not sure of the brands listed, but Starwood Preferred Guest offer a terrific travel hack where they will match a price - even on a third party website - providing you book with them and can prove AT THE SAME TIME that the hotel was cheaper elsewhere. Screenshots are the secret weapon here :-)Thirdly, you've done well to use Kayak, so set up price alerts on it. However, be aware some properties are not listed on third party websites, so the more sites you use the better chance you have - try http://hotels.com (this also offers loyalty program, pay 10 nights get 1 free)Fourthly, experiment with scraper sites like http://www.trivago.com that compare prices across all the major third-party sites.Fifth, and finally, maybe consider this option...... http://www.eatdrinkstaydubai.com/consulting-coaching/

Two scenarios, depending on what you want: 1. IF you are only interested in booking the hotel room and no flights that go along with it, then check Expedia, http://edreams.comand http://Booking.comAfter that, check the hotel website and see if they have any special promotions in the special offers section. This is an area that most people do not check when booking and comparing hotels, which is due to the fact that most, if not all of these offers are only on the hotel's website, and even if you call them to check rates, they may not up-sell the offers to you as their objective is to sell the rooms at the highest possible rate. 2. IF if you want to book a flight + hotel package, check dreams and Expedia for bundles. Sometimes for not so busy periods you'd find offers for both that are slightly higher than what you'd have to pay if you booked the hotel separately. Alternative options: 1. If you know someone who works at Emaar, ask them if they can check the rates at these hotels for friends of Emaar staff. The discount may not be that high, but a discount is a discount. 2. Call or email the reservations department, mention your company name. If your employer is government, or is tied in a way to a company that does have relations with a corporation that has corporate rate, you will be able to get a corporate rate. Aramco has great corporate rates with many hotels in Dubai. In the case that your company does not have corporate rates, and your employees travel often to Dubai, it might be worth asking your travel (or HR) department to get in touch with a sales rep at The Address/Emaar to get corporate rates. Good luck!

Online, hotels operate largely in a rate parity environment today - that is, you'll find the same rate no matter where you look online. The best way to get special deals is to get on the emails of the Vegas hotels (you need to sort through a lot of much though) or to go to a site that has figured out how to give a better deal without violating rate parity. Our site - http://perfectescapes.com - does this through some value-added amenities (upgrades, resort credit, bfast daily for two) at some hotels and better prices at others. We can only market better prices through private member communications. You can check out other private sale sites as well whether generalists like groupon and livingsocial or travel ones like jetsetter and sniqueaway

We are a members only platform, from Dubai, popular in UAE and KSA. Happy to assist by phone as well on 00971 4 375 1326 . Have a nice stay!

The idea is to remain watchful, especially on forums and ticketing sites across the Internet. This is because almost every week, new deals are introduced, revoked and even reinvented by travel firms every day. Sometimes a booking agency or a travel website is likely to have its own periodic sales. These may be advertised (albeit only sometimes) in newspapers and the Internet. So paying attention to these out can help you too. The whole idea behind taking time and exploring profiles, is that this gives us insight about a hotel that its representational images, sponsored reviews or even the accolades won will not divulge to the ordinary customer. Moreover, one learns how to spot out the best pick, because some http://www.cleartrip.ae/hotels/united-arab-emirates/dubai/ may or may not change their rates based on location, premium and ranking. Thus the ideal hotel one looks out for must offer good rates and some add-ons that make it worth the reduced pricing or a location outside of prime addresses. But remember, that even if your favourite run-down inns are unlisted online, it is a good move to scour the Web for any package that is a downright steal!
