Does anyone know a site besides Flippa.com that's good for selling and buying small websites?

    Since you didn't define "small", I'll assume that small means: Not much revenue Not much traffic Young site There several places you can go to buy and sell websites, in general, large or small.  This list isn't exhaustive, but these are probably some of the more active places right now: Flippa:  http://flippa.com Perhaps the largest marketplace to buy and sell websites.  Requires you to pay to list, similar to eBay.  Scammers are present, so proceed with caution as you would any major financial transaction on the Internet, maybe x5 FlipWebsites: http://www.flipwebsites.com/ They offer a "For Sale" section on their site but has few listings.  I don't think you get the same exposure there as you do on Flippa, but the  price is cheaper. Flipping Enterprises:  http://flippingenterprises.com/websitesforsale A higher-end broker for selling websites.  They, of course, command a large commission for selling your site and they tend to deal only with six-figure sales and higher.  Probably not good for small sites. SitePoint:  http://sitepoint.com The origin of Flippa, they still have a few "for sale" listings in here.  If you're going this route, I'd say stick with Flippa as you'll get better traffic. WebsiteBroker: http://www.websitebroker.com/ Another high-end broker.  They had 100 sites for sale at the time of this listing.  Same cautions as Flipping Enterprises, mostly 6-7 figure deals.  Some 5 figure ones as well.  Again, not going to do well for small sites. eBay:  http://ebay.com Yes, you can sell a website on eBay.  The listings aren't geared towards  website information, so I would consider this a poor marketplace.  Most folks don't come to eBay looking for sites, so that makes this even harder to use. In short, for smaller sites, Flippa is one of the harder places to beat.  Once you get some established revenue or traffic, you may be able to play with the Big Boys more, but until then, you're kind of stuck at the Flippa level.

Late reply but if you define a site as small because it has no revenue, no traffic and no original content, then you could try places like eBay and DigitalPoint. Outside of this, Flippa continues to have the largest number of website listings and the largest active buyer audience. As such, you really can’t go past Flippa. But then again, I’m biased …
