What are the requirements for these universities?

For a computer science student of VIT, Vellore what are the requirements and criteria to get admission in to top universities like CMU, Caltech, UCB etc?

    Normally CGPA pays a critical role when you are planing for MS...The universities you mentioned here are not very much interested in your GRE score still keep it 320 or 325 + ..Normally there is a Hugh competition in these univ so they filter out the best candidates..   You must have done some good projects and internships..If you are able to publish some good papers it will be a plus point ..normally people getting into these places have done some quality work and have published in top venues .... In addition to this you need a strong LOR and SOP which are most critical factor of your admission...
