A contact at a fairly big company is going to introduce me to their CEO. How should I prepare?
-
I didn't ask for this, but a company contact at a pre-IPO startup (think Fitbit's size and popularity) said he'd introduce me to the CEO. How should I prepare for this?
-
Answer:
Read the CEO's letter to shareholders in the last few annual reports. Find press releases where he's quoted directly. Read interviews he's given to the press or magazines. Check his LinkedIn stuff, Twitter feed, and Facebook activity.
