Is there an offline bible for iPod touch?

What is a good solution to save maps offline on the iPhone and iPod Touch?

I am looking for a good solution for the iPhone and iPod touch (either from the AppStore or Cydia - Jailbreak) that will let me save maps for offline viewing. It would be nice to be able to search offline, too, for addresses, but it's not a must.

I am a big fan of Galileo offline maps. The basic app is free, but it is well worth it to pay the $1.99 to get the offline map functionality. Their guide here http://galileo-app.com/guide.html shows how to download full maps from Google to your computer and them upload them to your ipod/iphone/ipad via iTunes. It is a very basic application with no search and no directions, but it has worked very well for me so far. Update: an older version had a buggy zoom that I mentioned in my original post that has now been fixed. This app has also been a lifesaver for me several times in which I had no reception, but thanks to the GPS always working and having offline maps, I knew exactly where I was and could figure out how to get where I wanted. I have a friend who has downloaded topography maps and uses this (with the GPS) actively while hiking.
