This is why something comfortable is a must, yet you need to look presentable enough for parents to trust you with their kids, so no obvious piercings, tattoos, no low cut blouses, and no embellishments (kids can pull on chains and earrings). Be prepared that you might be asked to surrender your cell phone if you are spending a day at the daycare, so do not take anything unnecessary with you (lockers may or may not be available).
