How do I change the font size in mail.yahoo.com?

Is it possible to publish a book via Kindle & iBooks and ensure that the reader cannot change the font style, but still allow the reader to change the font size?

  • I have written a novel which uses 5 different font styles, and for a reader to comprehend the work, the font styles need to remain intact.  I like the feature to change the font size and would like to retain this, but I cannot see that would be possible with the current set up of Kindle & iBooks.

    If you set the font of a section of text with a non-general tag (anything but p, div, span, body, or html), it will not be changed when the reader chooses a new font in iBooks. They will still be able to change the font size.

Kindle books do not allow for the font style to be changed. In general, with ebooks, the fewer fonts you have going the better, because the transition between formats often causes unexpected wonkiness, for lack of a better word. Kindle, Barnes & Noble PubIt, and Smashwords all recommend using a simple, straightforward font, such as 12 pt. Times New Roman.

Fonts and font sizes can be changed unless the book formatter locks them in.  If that happens, be prepared for some pretty nasty reviews and all kinds of book returns. You should always allow the reader to read the book the way they want to.

No, it is not. I would suggest that you rethink the book so that understanding the meaning is not dependent on your font choices.  If you have something important to say, you should be able to say it in ASCII. ;-)
