I go all day around to read everything, read books, paper etc. to find this IDEA.

  • Answer:

You've taken in a lot of information. Now, you need to process that information and start focusing. To process, if you can, spend some time not worrying about it: with your family, or in nature; put your mind on something else to let the information settle. Maybe you'll see a bird doing something, and have an epiphany about how that relates to recommendation engines (made up example). There's a book called Gamestorming, by Gray, Brown and Macanufo, that might give you some useful techniques for focusing the information in on a business opportunity once you've let it settle. You should be able to get it fairly quickly via an online or technical bookseller.

C Burke's answer is spot on. Stop thinking for a bit. Un-focus on that "problem". Go do something you love to do that takes your entire attention. Binge watch some funny TV series. Meet new people. Exercise your mind in unfamiliar ways. When you think about your "problem" and it intrudes turn it upside down. Ask questions about it. Look for alternative solutions (Don't start your own business find a start-up and show them why you should be a part of their team. Teach a class in your expertise. Write chapters for a book and self publish them one-by-one. Start your own newsletter then leverage it.) Digesting information - especially when it is intertwined with strong emotion - takes time to process. Thinking about it isn't the same as processing.

Ease the pressure completely. Pressure is a bad idea for important decisions. Why? Pressure draws attention, energy and sometimes other things too. Important decisions are best taken when calm and serene. Then you can see clearly. Then you can think clearly. Some important decisions have to be taken under pressure because of the urgency of the situation, like when an airplane's cockpit catches fire in mid-flight. But you're not in such a situation. So avoid important decisions under pressure if your can. Seek the sources of your pressure. Seek the interpretations that generate the emotions. See if you can interpret the situation in a different way. Repeat again and again until you feel the pressure slipping away. When it's all gone, you're ready to look around and actually see things your could not before because of the pressure.
