Where can I get the best free web hosting and domain name from the same provider?

  • I had a domain name and was looking for free web hosting but found that domain transfers cost more than the domain itself. I figured that if there was a tried and tested service that provided the same thing, I would be able to avoid the costs.

    You should never register the domain name with the hosting provider; find separate companies. Why? The main reason is if you decide to leave your web host or if they suspend your account for whatever reason(s), they may hold your domain hostage or charge you an additional fee to "release" the domain. Plus it's best to get services from specialized companies. To transfer your domain, the new domain company you pick will charge you for the transfer, typically the same cost (or less - first year) of domain registration. As to free web hosting, I recommend using a hosted service like http://WordPress.com and just mapping a domain name to it. Or you can try http://www.freewebhostingtalk.com/ for help.

https://www.zoho.in/is currently providing ".in" and "http://co.in",  free with hosting. You cannot change hosting provider(Zoho) for 1 year.
