What are better alternatives than advertising with Google Adwords?

Why does Google serve me banner ads advertising AdWords when I manage 50 client accounts and I am logged in to Google?

  • Google AdWords offfers remarketing options that will allow banner advertisers to exclude lists of users based on specific criteria.  So if Google knows I am a Google AdWords Certified manager of over 50 AdWords accounts for my clients, why are they still displaying ads to me to get me to "try" AdWords?  Is Google unable to use their own tools or is it just full of bugs and errors like the rest of the AdWords platform?

    I imagine they are not using sophisticated techniques here...since they are paying for the ad space with "Google-bucks" they are probably just blanketing the entire Internet population with these things...
