How does Quora get my email address when I have signed up using Facebook?

I keep getting mails form Quora on all the activities happening in my profile.Was just curious how did these guys manage to get my email id when i have signed up using Facebook!

When you authorize Quora's connection to Facebook, they ask you for permission to get your email address from Facebook.
