How is the weather in Surat?

Can anyone from Surat, Gujarat tell me the weather conditions and if there's any chance of flooding?

    Right now? It is raining, kind of heavily. It always does around this time. But, don't worry about the floods. Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) is one of the best in the state. This is what the Technical Director of Urban Health Climate and Resilience Center, Dr. Vikas Desai said in an interview we conducted, "When there was a possibile situation of a flood last year, I was more concerned about Vadodra because I was just worried what they'd do. I knew we could handle it!" Last year, when because of continuous heavy rains for some days, the roads were flooded, they were cleared by the SMC in just two days! They have a great working system and efficient management, so, don't worry about the flood.
