How is iipm for doing mba?

How do some people move up in their career after doing an MBA from a less-known college? Why are they happy that they did not go to IIPM for MBA?

During starting days of career one of my colleagues happened to be from IIPM and I completed my MBA from a not so known college (because of few circumstances, I had to study from there). My colleague left no stone un turned in making me feel that I am very much mediocre and how she has upper hand in getting a job in big MNCs (as she studied from IVY league college). At one point of time I really got demoralize. Anyway now I am doing good. I would be happy if somebody can share his or her experience that how they moved up in career even after doing MBA from a less known college and why they are happy about not studying from IIPM.

Is this a joke question? If not, ask the IIPM guy to send me a private message because the things I would like to tell him, is unsuitable for public listening.
