What tips and advice would men give to women on how to be better people and romantic partners?

A few from my paltry experience. (Someone asked me to answer this, so I feel somewhat obliged to reply.) These apply to possibly a majority of Western women, though definitely not all. Give men and their emotional intelligence a bit more credibility. We have feelings too, and actually most of us don't callously treat every woman like a conquest. Getting rejected or turned down doesn't feel good for most men, surprisingly. We may appear demure on the surface, but we're usually far from unaffected or insensitive. Be more open and direct with your own feelings. You are with fellow girls usually. If you like a guy, don't be so subtle as confuse him. You don't need to say it to his face, but at least give hints. Don't lead a guy around either in starting or during an established relationship. This sort of goes hand in hand with the previous point, but I can't stress it enough. It torments a guy when you've got their interest, but proceed to ask selfishly and like a narcisit, consciously or otherwise. I'm sure plenty of advice can be given in reverse, but these are the most relevant in relation to the question and from my perspective I think.

I have some ideas. I expect these will be fairly incendiary to women readers. Stop going back on your word. When you say you'll do something or be somewhere, do it or be there. None of these excuses. Stop flaking. When you make a commitment, you keep it. No qualifiers and no "oh my best friend really needs me right now I can't make it!" Men can't read your mind. Stop expecting them to be able to do so. Say what you want and what you're afraid of. Be honest about what you expect from a relationship. Stop pretending you don't care as much about sex as men do. We know you care more. Approach the men you find attractive. Ask them out. We're tired of doing all the work. Stop with the double standard. If a woman wants a guy to devote all his time, energy, and money to her and her offspring forever, that's just being mature. But if a guy wants to express his innate masculine nature and sleep with more than one woman at the same time, while being in a loving partnership, he's immature and obviously not grown up. But a woman can cheat on her husband or boyfriend anytime and it was 'an accident' or it's proof that she's not being sexually fulfilled in the relationship. Stop it. If you really love your man, you'll want him to be happy and fulfilled -- including that deeply masculine part of him that wants to flirt with, seduce, and, yes, sleep with, other women. Monogamy is unnatural. Stop fighting that fact.
