What is a good score in the TOEFL for applying for a master's in science or engineering?
-
I am planning to apply for masters in science or engineering. I scored 105 in TOEFL iBT. Score breakup is - Reading 29, Listening 27, Speaking 24 and Writing 25. Is this score good or should I retake?
-
Answer:
This is a good score overall and section-wise as well. Most schools have a minimum requirement which is usually around 80, so you're good to go. Certain schools list section-wise cut off on their websites, see if your school has listed any section-wise cut off and decide based on how badly you want to apply to those schools and then make a call on re-taking.

That's a pretty decent score I would say. Most of the universities have a minimum requirement of not more than 80 with 20 in each section.
