• The beauty of AAP lies in unconventional ways it uses to open up space for http://itself.In that sense,it's more like an entrepreneur who has decided to enter a business which is already dominated by big players who are not only resourceful but also know how to play the dirty game.And all this entrepreneur has with him is one brilliant idea and heaps of courage. Such entrepreneurs find huge support system in silicon valley and that's why keep on producing world changing products.Such entrepreneurs fing huge critics in India and that's why we keep on producing mediocre products. If AAP fails,the idea of breakthrough innovation will fail in India. No?

  Yes, Arvind Kejriwal is like a startup in a market dominated by large brands with deep pockets. He has a very, very powerful value proposition. BUT HE HAS NO PLAN ON HOW TO IMPLEMENT THE IDEA IN THE MARKET. Making promises and imagining 'product features' is great. And you can get angel funding for it (initial supporters). But if you do not demonstrate capacity to execute, that's not going to help the cause. In addition to a great product (or at least a good promised product), a organization needs to have the ability to engage different stakeholders, to have a plan to 'make things happen' and to find ways to 'get things done'... and not abandon the market if things don't go as you had imagined they would. Since we are using companies as an analogy for a political party, I also do not see any sense in expanding into the national market without first having even tested your product, processes and execution. So, nett: Bold Startup. Great concept. Meaningful value proposition. Incompetent and incomplete team without experience, arrogant and no desire to learn. No operating plan. No execution capacity. No strategy - only tactics. Yes, sad to see them go down this way. Would have really liked this concept to win. I will be in on this startup, but with a new CEO and a new team.
