How to save ONLY the CSS changes of Styles panel of Chrome Developer Tools?

In the Chrome browser (developer panel) is there a way to edit CSS properties and HTML on the fly, like in Firebug?

  • I seem to only be able to select DOM elements (read-only), whereas in Firebug I can actually modify the HTML and see the results rendered live

  • Answer:

You can inspect an HTML element and, on the right-hand list of CSS properties, double-click on the one you want to edit. To add a new property, tab from that state to the end of the list, and you'll be able to add a new property. I've been using Chrome lately, mostly for it's speed, but I must confess the Webkit inspector is still a lot behind Firebug, at least when it comes to UI.

Chrome now is support CSS/HTML real-time editing preview on-the-fly Just right click on your target element, inspect it, then you can modify any value/properties in the bottom-panel(developer panel) I can sure that Chrome-Dev side is better than Firebug already. Yes.  Double-click, or right-click and select "Edit as HTML" for HTML editing.  CSS requires a double-click I think.
