Why are Fisher price Toys so expensive?

Who sings the songs on Fisher Price toys?

• We have several Fisher Price toys that move and sing.  It sounds like the same lady sings all the songs.  I'd like to know who she is and how she got the part.

Usually these things are put out to tender, there are always plenty of session musicians and song writers looking for work. Writing advertising jingles is relatively well paid, because it is seen as"demeaning" for songwriters. Famously Pinky and Perky featured unknown (at the time), guitarist Jimmy Page (later of Led Zepplin), it is rumoured that Hendrix appeared on some songs.
