What is the perfect business for a market researcher?

I want to present or pitch my new design idea to a big company. Should I hire a market researcher or business analyst to give a report of increasing sales based on the new idea?

    yes , u shd. first get a legal advisor , then go to business and market analysts , if ur prod can boom up the market then dont forget to get the product idea patented or get copyrights for it (Intellectual property rights )  then u r good to go and pitch ur idea to any big company . as u have patented it already , u can now negotiate with the company to sell the rights or lease it .

I would suggest a different approach. Don't try to sell ideas. Difficult to convince and costly process. See whether you can productize your idea. Or convince a real customer to use your idea. Either way ensure that somebody uses it and validates it and gets the real benefit. If the results are positive, it will sell on its own. You dont have to convince anybody and you will save a lot of money in the process.
