Are there any mobile apps that overlay todo lists onto my calendar?
-
The problem I am trying to solve is that I want to be able to create a todo list with an estimate of how long each item takes and a ranking of todo list item priority. I want to slot in each todo item on my calendar, overlayed on top of my actual calendar appointments. Then, I want the todo items to automatically refresh their start times on the basis of whether or not I have completed them. So, for example, if my day starts at 9am and ends at 5pm, and I have a meeting from 3pm-4pm on Monday, I want to fill in 9am-3pm and 4pm-5pm on Monday with todo items ranked in order of priority based on how many items I can get done in seven hours. Then, to the extent I complete the todo items more slowly than anticipated, I want them to continue to push back on my calendar as far as necessary; for example, if I don't complete any of the items on Monday, I want Tuesday's calendar to be overlaid with todo items from 9am-4pm. Similarly, if I complete the todo items faster, I want them to push forward in my calendar. Is there any mobile app that does this?

Answer:
Our app LifeTopix makes everything visible in a powerful My Calendar view - projects, tasks (due dates), notes with date tags, trips, visitors, activities, appointments, reminders, events, bills, expenses, etc. It shows it all together along with the device calendar appointments in the My Calendar. We have plans to support auto-assigning tasks with dates based on certain criteria. Getting input from users on that right now on keeping it simple. You can learn more at http://lightarrow.com/lifetopix - we are aiming to make it a truly useful all-in-one organizer.

Joel, http://zendayhttp://-app.com does exactly that, while https://taskk.it tries to do 'brainy' planning of your day

Joel, We're building an app like that. If you could share additional requirements, I'd appreciate the input.
