What blogs or other resources do you use to find amazing new music? Why?

I'm currently working on the marketing plan for a few of my label's new releases, including my own single (you can read more about it here: http://timwhite.co/tim-whites-new-single-need-erica-gibson/ ). As I started to look for good places to advertise our artist's new songs, I got thinking about where people discover new music. It seems to me there's a ton of new discovery options like Pandora, Spotify playlists, Shazam. There's traditional magazines like Rolling Stone and Billboard. There's music festivals and showcases. And there's social media. But I'm curious to hear from actual fans about how they discover new music. If you could, please include in your answers: Your top sources for discovering new music Your favorite genre or a few of your artists What you do after you find music you like (buy on iTunes, Stream on Spotify, look for a music video, follow on twitter, something else?) I listen to a lot of electronic, pop, jazz and world music. And I've been enjoying finding new music via Noisetrade [http://Noisetrade.com, BitCandy, Bandcamp, Youtube, Soundcloud, Spin, and a dozen or so smaller music blogs. After I find music I like? A few times, I purchase their albums. But that's rare especially with so much free streaming going on. Typically I find them on Facebook and like them. If they're active on Twitter or Instagram, they get followed there as well.
