How to export a .p12 file on Windows phone?

Is it possible to use Outlook for Android to export MS Exchange emails into a PST file and then download onto a Windows (with MS Office) machine?

  • I have to go on vacation for 3 weeks and my MS Exchange based corporate email inbox is limited size. So, I need to pop the emails regularly onto my local machine.  I am planning to buy a smart phone (samsung note 3) to use in travel and vacation.  My concern is that can I clear my inbox by downloading emails onto android phone and then export them to a pst file?  Will this PST be working fine, if I want to download all my email on my office machine after my vacation?  PS: I do not want to carry netbook or laptop on vacation.

  • Answer:

To the best of my knowledge, the Outlook for Android app only works with Outlook (dot) com accounts, not Exchange accounts.  I'm not aware of an official Microsoft app for connecting to an Exchange account from an Android device.  There are some third-party apps available for connecting from an Android device to an Exchange server, but I don't believe any of them support PST files.
