Bought some tech products from a Swiss website at a substantial value. No products, no refund. How do we go about getting the refund?

Bought the tech products from a Swiss website in October of last year. Product delivery date was postponed and postponed, month after month. Asked for a refund 60 days ago, refund has not surfaced. They are claiming that their bank can only process a number of refunds p/day, but in reality they have serious cash-flow issues. What steps ( legal or not ) should we to take to recoup the funds?

Answer:
If you paid by credit card, dispute the charge. If not, and if you are not in Switzerland, then you may have no effective remedy unless the amount at issue is so great that you can justify retaining a Swiss lawyer. This answer is not a substitute for professional legal advice....

If reporting to your credit card company is not an option, the agency that handles international fraud issues (among other things, they are an international law enforcement agency, that deals with international issues like the one you are faced with) http://www.unicri.it/special_topics/cyber_threats/cyber_crime/internet_users/support/ While they are located in Italy, they have a working relationship with Switzerland and many other countries, functioning as a task force in deterring to fraudulent activity and organized crime.

I agree with the answers that recommend you contact the credit card company and let them know that the items have never been shipped. I doubt that it will matter what the store's official policy is or that they're an international seller. You might have to wait a few weeks for things to settle out but I am confident you will prevail and get your money back. Good luck!

If you just paid for it and have not received it then contact the credit card company to dispute the charges You need to look at the return policy from the Swiss company otherwise it is unfortunate but you're stuck in the future always check their return policy before placing an order that way you won't get stuck again it has happened to me as well I do most of my ordering through Amazon their return policy is different for them versus individuals who may be selling them i've never had any problem working with Amazon
