What is the best advice to give to recent computer science grad, having no internships or past experience in this field.

Answer:
You should be looking to meet people who hold positions you are interested in, or work at companies you think you would enjoy. LinkedIn is a great tool for making online connections but something like MeetUp will allow you to get in the room with likeminded people. Go find meetups based on topics you are interested in and see what happens. Once in the room, your goal is simply to get along with the people. Form relationships, whether business or friendly, or ideally, both. Most people like to hire someone their friends/coworkers know. Additionally, you can begin to brand yourself as an expert in your field, which is extremely important nowadays.
