Are there possibilities to use the DISHTV in Malaysia?

Should Malaysia Airlines use alternative route even though Ukrainian airspace was classified not subject to restrictions by ICAO before Malaysia Airlines MH17 Incident (July 2014) happened? Yay or nay - why?

The answer to your question is pretty obvious in hindsight, of course, it should avoid. Also: 1) Some of the crew members refused to fly through Ukraine territory: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2698579/Two-cabin-crew-refused-fly-doomed-plane-war-zone-safety-fears-Senior-pilots-cabin-crew-flagged-concerns-flight-path-weeks-tragedy.html 2) Many others airlines changed their flightpath to avoid East Ukraine before the tragedy. Although Malaysia Airlines was not the only one who had flights close to military zone 3) Also, tragedy might be averted if flight was folowing it's usual flight path (that particular flight was diverted 200 kilometers north http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Central_Asia/CEN-01-190714.html

An alternative route might not be as reassuring as we could wish.  Sadly, many parts of the world are at war. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/10980588/MH17-Malaysia-Airlines-flies-over-Syria-instead-of-Ukraine.html Arctic route might be safe.

I've learned from Australian news that Qantas haven't been flying over the war zone for months. I believe that answers the question.
