I deactivated my Facebook account in 2010, why and how is Quora now showing me random people from my Facebook Friends list under Invite People to Quora?
-
Quora required a Facebook account for initial Quora account creation, so yes, they have the account, but how and why are they accessing a friends list from a deactivated account? I deactivated Facebook because I was tired of my high school crowd, and now I see it on Quora again.

Answer:
Quora probably copy on their server the list of your Facebook contacts. When you sign up with Facebook you can see the list of permissions that are granted to Quora. From what you say they seem to keep it for ever in case your account is deactivated.
