How do I add contacts from google maps into Gmail?

When searching on google maps I'd like to be able to add the results to my contacts in gmail.

I'm afraid only the opposite is possible right now: you can type a contact's name in Google Maps and get the directions, but not the other way around. I'm actually writing an e-book about Google Contacts with info just like this.
