What are the best Android apps for experimenting with the accelerometer data?

I want to use smartphones for some simple physics experiments, e.g. turning the phone into a pendulum and measuring the acceleration at each point along the arc, then plotting and fitting the data. What are the best apps for this sort of experiment?
