What website can I see caravans to buy?

What kind of data that advertisers would like to see before they decide to buy ad spaces in my website?

  • I have a website and I plan to sell some spaces for advertisement. I prefer to deal with customers directly than using a 3rd party service like AdSense or BuySellAds. I'm curious to know what kind of data that advertisers would like to see before they decide to buy my ad space. Is it how many visits per month ? Or how many unique visitors per month ? Or pageviews per month ? Is the number is average per month or based on last month ?

  • Answer:

Probably just unique users and some basic demographics about the users. It's not going to be easy to sell direct, most media agencies will be buying against massive numbers and won't be bothered about smaller sites unless there is something amazingly unique, like a very special audience or context. Smaller companies may be more open to buying direct if they don't have agencies that do this, but most would rather get discounts by buying spare and varied inventory or programmatic buying. Sad to say, but most people have an inflated sense of what their audience is worth.
