Is reservation responsible for top IIT engineers moving out of India?

  • I believe top IIT students were unaffected by reservations because obviously they qualified and got education at a lower cost (than expenditure by government on IIT), I do not understand how reservations made them to migrate out of India. There can be many justified reasons for migration and in this question I do not want to deal with the ethics of it, I just want to understand if reservation causes migration of those who are unaffected by reservation in securing admissions to IIT especially the top rankers, if so why?

    No, reservations don't cause them to migrate. They are good enough to get whatever they want in our country without reservations restricting them.  They only migrate for better opportunities.
