Can a high school teacher of 14 years in the classroom become a full-time college professor?

I finished my doctoral work a year ago and have been teaching for private universities for 3 years both online as well as ground course. Other than my dissertation, I do not have any research to present, which is one reason I want to move the the college level. What would the possibility be for me to make the move and what kind of salary would I expect to make?

Go for it! i taught high school for five years and found the experience made me a far better teacher at the university level. Without much research background you may find Community Colleges will be a better fit.
