I was looking into taking a program at my local community college in Colorado Springs in: Architectural Engineering/Construction Management and realized that it is not an A.A. degree but an A.A.S. Is an Associate in Applied Science transferable?

I'm fairly sure it is. Colorado has a guaranteed transfer agreement whereby all credits from a community college degree transfer to any public four-year college in the state.
