What would be a good email address for me?

What is a good reaction to someone  using my real email address as their fake email address?

  • Someone (or several someones) keeps using my email address for things like signing up for Facebook, eHarmony, and porn sites. I contacted the person who used my address to sign up for Facebook and politely asked them to use a fake address that was actually fake. She swore at me violently. I just closed the eHarmony account created by a random person in MA. I'd rather not kill or block the account, and I don't want to make anyone mad enough to just sign me up for spam and porn as retaliation, but I'd rather not get their online dating and Facebook notifications either. What are ideas for dealing with this?

  • Answer:

    Register to the FB and eHarmony with the email. Then inactive or hide your profiles and check for "No notifications" in their settings. This way it seems as if you don't have profiles in those sites, while there is already a password registered to you on those sites that you only have! :)
