Why can't I debug in eclipse C++?

How do I debug Android apps via Eclipse on the BlueStacks app player?

  • Answer:

    Thanks for the A2A. I have never tried to debug the Android apps in Bluestack. I usually prefer the USB debugging. Because it is much faster to test the apps than Emulator.

Although I am not sure about this, but I don't think that you can debug a app in bluestacks. You can only install and run apps on it i.e. you wont have DDMS perspective. The two options you have are: 1. Directly use android avd in eclipse. 2. If you feel that android avd is too slow ( I agree ... It is horribly slow :P ) and if you own a android phone then try usb debugging. It is definitely faster.

My recommndation to use default emulator instead because BlueStacks App Player is also emulator that allows to download app from market.
