No. The prime reason being that the American Education system considers a set of parameters and not just an entrance score the way they do in India. American Universities shortlist potential candidates on the basis of Application Rating System in which each application is alloted certain points. For instance suitable weights are given to GRE score, previous research work, extra curricular activities and recommendations given for the candidate. These things are quantified into points and their sum gives the over all points for a given application.
