Lots of good answers here, and I'll have to throw in my vote for GoAnimate and Powtoon for DIY videos. I've used both before and they are great, especially GoAnimate. I've made a few videos on GoAnimate that are about 90 seconds for maybe $150-$200 each. I was a complete beginner and people liked them so much that they asked me to make videos for them (charging way more than that too).
