What is a good name for the "how many jelly beans are in the jar?" problems?
-
The question + arelady has an answer of how to solve it, but what should we call it? The name "'how many jelly beans are in the jar?' problem" is cumbersome. "saccharum numerand" is snooty and probably bad Latin to boot.

Answer:
the "why can't I just eat them all and put 0" problem if you're looking for funny. "Jelly bean jar problem" is probably the easiest english shortening of the name though.
