Which web-based software would you recommend for home inventory management?

We actually have a few home insurance firms using it to track home inventory. An interesting reason to track home inventory other than the obvious reasons, is that in case of theft or natural disaster you can claim insurance with far more ease. The more specific and accurate the information, the quicker the payoff from insurance firms. And since the product is web based, you get to kick the tyres and feel comfortable before even entering in your credit card. Its got some nifty features like QRCode support, collaboration,  history tracking of check outs and check in's , specially if you've got a few neighbors who like to borrow stuff and tracking them down isnt always easy etc :)

Hi there, I'm using a software provided by Stockgist, involves cloud based, stock transfer among branches, sales, purchase order, invoice, online detailed reporting, discount % and amount, operate using all devices (desktop,tablet etc.). The best feature I like most: one time payment ( no monthly, yearly subscription).

The DIY Inventory Software that is most recommended by insurance companies (Allstate, Traveler's and others) is https://www.knowyourstuff.org/iii/login.html.  This is great for DIYers but from experience, I will say that when you are involved in the inventory of your own possessions, it is not a clean-cut process at all, and the details of little forgotten items are an attention drag. It can be very difficult to see the big picture and speed through an inventory of your own possessions.  Good luck!
