How do I do cron job for list of URLS?

Where did all my private blogs/boards on Quora go?

  • The other day, I noticed that all the blogs I had set up (marked as private) where I was posting content for myself (from back when they were called 'boards' to when they were changed into 'blogs') to sort through the immense amount of content on Quora... are ALL GONE! I've been making these lists for years. I had links saved for job searches, books to buy and read, people I had to write to! Tips and tutorials. And they have all disappeared. E.g. one of my private blogs on here was called "URLs for later" and I kept in there a long long list of URLs I meant to catch up on later. I've tried contacting Quora bugs and feedback emails and haven't received any response. I hope someone from Quora can respond here. PLEASE tell me this is just a glitch and you still have my content somewhere and it can be restored.

  • Answer:

The Quora bugs and feedback team will get back to you but it often takes a while.  It helps to search the existing questions that have been asked on this topic.  I won't recount them here, but while I'm composing this answer a whole heap of related questions on this topic (along with the answers) has appeared to the right of this question thread.  I've had stuff like this happen to me in the past.  What I do now is subscribe to the Quora Product Updates Blog / Topic and read what they send me / post.  About 70% of what they share isn't directly relevant to me, but the remainder is and this has been a way of avoiding the heartache you have.
